Who Provides The Data?

There are several sources for the data. However, the Consular Chamber of Commerce funds the development and maintenance for this site.

The ISO-3166-1 codes are provided by the International Organization for Standardization. However, they do not normally provide the data in a machine readable form. We track changes to the standard and update our data accordingly.

We monitor announcements at the United Nations for changes in official flags and borders and adjust our maps and flags accordingly.

We maintain a list of URLs for each country code and constantently scan to ensure that the URLs are still valid. URLs that become invalid are checked by our personnell and adjusted or removed and necessary. We are always looking for new official sources of country information

No, the Consular Chamber of Commerce provides this as a free service in the hopes of expanding international understanding and trade. The Consular Chamber of Commerce provides a searchable list of Consulars to and for various countries. These people stand ready to facilitate your international business dealings.

Consular Countries endevours to keep the data up to date at all times. We update our data whenever we discover that changes have been made by the standards organizations or recognized authorities.
